David Vest and his band have toured extensively throughout North America as members of the Paul deLay Band.

All of them played on the deLay band's current CD, which entered the Billboard national blues chart at No. 7, after debuting at No. 1 on Amazon's top 100 live blues CDs.

Led by longtime deLay sidekick and co-frontman David Vest on piano, the combo features guitarist Peter Dammann, a 20-year veteran of the deLay band, and a fabulous rhythm section of Dave Kahl on bass and Jeff Minnick on drums.

The 4-piece unit adds horns whenever feasible, depending on the gig.

Their performance at the 2007 Waterfront Blues Festival was hailed by one reviewer as "the most outstanding set of the festival" and was ranked No. 1 among the "Best Live Performances of 2007."
